A woman pleaded guilty to a driving under the influence charge yesterday in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court and was on her way to the electronic monitoring office when court officials administered a Breathalyzer test that revealed she had a blood alcohol level that was more than twice the legal limit. She was sent to jail.

Socialite Paris makes headlines again after a shameful incident. The star shocked the audience at a Las Vegas nightclub by vomiting on stage instead of singing.

According to witnesses present at the event, Paris Hilton drank all night long and when she got up on stage to perform she couldn't do it and ended up puking instead.

Singer Joshua Radin. one of the guests who went to the nightclub to hear rapper Shawn 'Jay-Z' Carter perform, describes the incident: "Paris, who had been swilling straight vodka from Grey Goose bottle for hours, gets up on stage, has the people in charge throw her 'record' on the house stereo for her to lip sync two of her songs. She gets up on the stage, pukes, leaves..."

Never mind that in 2004 some misguided Florida children's group invited Lee Paige, a 45-year-old Drug Enforcement Agency officer, into an auditorium with a loaded gun to demonstrate weapons handling. Couple got hitched after man wounded woman

A DRUNK man shot his partner twice - and then married her seven months later. A court heard yesterday how Robert Silvestro, 43, pulled out an air pistol and fired two pellets into Lesley Stevenson's head and chest. The terrifying incident happened in the early hours of January 2. The couple had just returned home from a family New Year's Day party. Prosecutor Mhari Boyle told Airdrie Sheriff Court: "They arrived home in the early hours of the morning and had an argument. She went to bed and he stayed in the living room. "She got up and went to the kitchen. "Then he appeared, pointing a gun at her. She said to him, 'Just shoot me.' And then she felt a pain in her head and chest. "He had shot her twice.
